Hearing Tests

Hearing tests are a type of medical examination used to assess an individual’s ability to hear. The results of hearing tests are used to diagnose hearing loss and determine the best course of treatment.

Cochlear Implant

A cochlear implant surgically implants an electronic device behind the ear and in the cochlea, which bypass damaged hearing cells and stimulate the auditory nerve to restore partial hearing. Cochlear implants do not cure hearing loss but they do help people with profound hearing loss to interpret sound signals.

Speech Therapy

Speech therapy teaches children listening and spoken language skills with the assistance of their hearing aid or cochlear implant. Auditory-verbal therapy emphasises on the communication with hearing and speech.

Children with hearing impairment may find managing their school grades and social life more challenging than others, but with the right support, they can get good grades, make friends, and enjoy school. Parents can help their children by providing them with the necessary resources and support.
